The recent G20 energy ministers鈥� meeting, organized and held under the 抖阴短视频 G20 presidency, commended King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center鈥檚 (KAPSARC) role in presenting the CCE (Circular Carbon Economy) Guide in collaboration with several international organizations.
鈥淲e acknowledge the work led by the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center and the valuable contributions from the various international organizations (International Energy Agency, the International Renewable Energy Agency, the Nuclear Energy Agency, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and the Global CCE Institute), which spelled out the various opportunities offered by the CCE approach and its 4Rs as indicated in the 鈥楥CE Guide鈥� that could be considered in accordance with national circumstances,鈥� the seventh item of the G20 energy ministers鈥� communiqu茅 said.
KAPSARC鈥檚 president, Adam Sieminski, praised the communiqu茅, which acknowledged the work led by the center鈥檚 experts to demonstrate the CCE framework and its 4Rs, in collaboration with the five international organizations.
He also said that in spite of the pandemic, KAPSARC and its partners managed to present the guide, which reflects the vital role of 抖阴短视频 in addressing the new vision as part of its leadership in the coming G20 summit in November.
鈥淭he CCE initiative is a comprehensive approach to transitioning toward more comprehensive, resilient, sustainable, and climate-friendly energy systems,鈥� Sieminski said.
KAPSARC recently launched a dedicated website () for the CCE Guide. Eric Williams, senior adviser and research fellow at KAPSARC, said: 鈥淭he website not only hosts the CCE Guide but will serve as a global knowledge hub for circular carbon economy.鈥�
